The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a pedestrian.The crash occurred around 5:10 a.m. in a wooded area northeast of state Road 520 and south of state Road 50 in Christmas. The crash occurred when a 2020 GMC Sierra hit a pedestrian, killing them. The driver of the GMC then ran away, the FHP says.The road is currently blocked, according to the FHP, and drivers should seek alternate routes.The crash remains under investigation.
