Sol Relief fundraiser
Sol Relief, Inc. is a St. Peterburg nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing immediate and effective disaster relief through its aviation network in collaboration with local communities and partner organizations. It focuses on providing last-mile air logistics and supports locally-led initiatives for longterm recovery.
From 4:30 until 7:30 p.m., Sol Relief is holding its 8th Annual Happy Hour and Hurricane Relief Fundraiser Friday, June 5 at The Hangar Restaurant & Flight Lounge at Albert Whitted Airport.
This annual event is an opportunity to get together with friends and supporters while helping Sol Relief prepare for hurricane season and future response efforts.
Live music will be provided by St. Petersburg’s Eric Swanson Band.

10th Annual C&C Lemonade Factory benefits All Children’s Hospital
Sisters Caroline and Charlotte Gallagher, along with their family, are hosting the 10th Annual C&C Lemonade Factory, Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. to raise money to support cancer research at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
Caroline was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 18 months old and is now in remission. Each summer she and her sister, helped by mom and dad, set up their lemonade stand in their front yard. The event includes activities for kids, including face painting and balloon art, popcorn and raffles. 100% of all lemonade and raffle sales will be donated to the hospital.
