With summer fast approaching, the Village of Key Biscayne is inviting families to enjoy an island “staycation” this summer as the Key Biscayne Community Center (KBCC) gets ready to kick off its 2026 summer camp season.
Located at 10 Village Way, the center offers a diverse range of programs for children and teens aged 3-17, combining traditional camp fun with specialized enrichment. The 2026 lineup features a blend of internal programs and sessions led by expert independent contractors.
The flagship KBCC Summer Camp for ages 5–12 remains a community favorite, offering a mix of field games, arts and crafts and swimming. Registration for this program includes weekly field trips to popular South Florida destinations like the Frost Science Museum, Zoo Miami and the Venetian Pool.
For those with a flair for the performing arts, the Broadway Musical Theater Camp returns for ages 6–15, providing a stage for young talents to shine. Dancers can also refine their technique at the Dance Camps by MVSA, which offer specialized instruction in various styles.

Is your child into sports? There are plenty of opportunities for them to stay active, including basketball, volleyball and a dedicated triathlon camp. Younger campers aged 3–5 can participate in the swim & sports camp, which focuses on fundamental movement and water safety.
Additionally, the center offers academic and creative outlets such as the YUPI Art Lab, Marine Biology and the Chess Fusion Lab.
Camps generally run from June 8 through mid-August. While the main summer camp operates from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., specialized contractor schedules vary.
Kids from non-KBCC members can also take advantage of the summer camp. Weekly fees start at $200 for members and $240 for non-members and go up to $410 for members and $492 for non-members for the Young Artist Camp. Non-member rates are available for most programs.
Registration is open to Key Biscayne residents. Parents must provide proof of residency, and first-time kindergarteners require a birth certificate or passport for age verification.
Space is limited and expected to fill quickly.
