The No. 9-seeded Florida State Seminoles will play the UCF Knights in the Tallahassee Regional on Sunday in the Tallahassee Regional Final. FSU needs to win to advance to win the regional, with UCF needing just one.
FSU (51-9) beat the Jacksonville State Gamecocks and Stetson Hatters on Friday to advance to the regional final after losing on Friday. They crushed Jacksonville State 11-0 to start the day, before beating Stetson 11-3. Ashtyn Danley had a sensational game against Stetson, hitting three homers and pitching the final three innings to earn the win.
Jazzy Francik broke out of her mini-slump in a major way, going 6-8 across the two games with three RBI and four runs scored. Jaysoni Beachum had two home runs on the day, including a grand slam to blow the Stetson game open in the second inning.

UCF (40-16-1) took the simpler route to the final, beating Jacksonville State 2-1 on Friday before dominating Stetson 11-1 on Saturday. They trailed 1-0 entering the seventh inning against the Gamecocks, but were able to force extra innings and have not looked back since.
FSU leads the all-time series against UCF 26-5, winning the last 16 meetings. FSU is 6-0 all-time against the Knights in the postseason, with them playing in the 2023 and 2024 Tallahassee Regionals.

After back-to-back games as the road team, FSU will be the home team against UCF on Sunday. If the Seminoles win Game One, they will be the road team for the finale.
