Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and officials at Miami International Airport on Monday will be releasing plans and renderings for the airport’s new state-of-the-art Airport Operations Center and Digital Monitoring Hub.

The new additions to the airport are part of MIA’s $14 billion Modernization in Action Plan.

According to officials, the Airport Operations Center will cost $33 million and is 13,254 square feet.

The AOC will include the following utilities:

AI-powered long-range pan-tilt-zoom cameras

real-time digital tower technology

massive HD-quality integrated panoramic video wall

The AOC is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
