Rain chances are lower on Monday with more summer heat 🌤️

  • May 18, 2026

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Meteorologist Cameron Aaron is tracking more sunshine and warm temperatures to kick off the work week.

Tonight Through Monday Night

After a few severe storms near the I-75 corridor on Sunday, we should see a weakening trend with the activity after sunset. A stray shower is possible to kick off Sunday night, but most of us are dry and mostly clear for the overnight. Lows fall into the upper-60s and low-70s.

The forecast is looking mainly dry and warm on Monday. An isolated downpour is possible during the afternoon, mainly in our western counties near Lake Seminole and the Apalachicola River. However, most are dry under a mostly sunny sky. Highs climb into the upper-80s and low-90s.

Quiet, muggy weather will continue for Monday night. Overnight lows settle in the upper-60s and low-70s under a mostly clear sky.

Middle Of The Week

Our “copy and paste” forecast will stick around for midweek.

An isolated shower is possible during the peak heating of the day on Tuesday, but most of the region is dry and warm. Temperatures top out in the low-90s under a mostly sunny sky. Lows fall into the upper-60s and low-70s.

We may see a few more showers and storms on Wednesday under a mix of Sun and clouds. However, it will not rain for every town. Highs stay in the upper-80s and low-90s, with lows in the upper-60s and low-70s.

Extended Forecast

We stay stuck in this typical summer weather pattern to end the work week.

Highs on Thursday and Friday reach the low-90s under some sunshine.

A few showers and storms are possible, but the rain coverage is not super widespread.

Overnight lows bottom out in the upper-60s and low-70s.
