One of Key Biscayne’s most popular summer offerings is at Motivating Minds, which returns this summer with a mission to keep young minds sharp and active.
Whether your child is a toddler taking their first steps into social play or a high schooler preparing for college applications, the 2026 summer lineup offers a tiered approach to enrichment that goes far beyond the typical camp experience.
Elementary & Creative Tracks
For elementary students, the day is divided into a choose-your-own-adventure format. During the morning sessions (9 a.m.-Noon), campers can explore passions like cooking, Hip-Hop dance, sewing, drawing or sports. Tech-enthusiasts can instead opt for the Minds of Tomorrow Robotics and Coding track, a full-day immersive STEM program (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) for ages 3–12 that focuses on the “minds of tomorrow.”
In the afternoons, the focus shifts to the popular Brain Boost Fun Academics program. Designed to prevent “summer slide,” this interactive session uses gamified learning, such as math bingo, money-counting roleplay, and crossword puzzles, with a goal to reinforce core skills. For students needing a bit more focused attention, 1:1 support in reading and math is also available.
Toddler & Teen Offerings
New for this season is the Toddler Play track (ages 2–4), providing a gentle introduction to a camp environment from 9 a.m.-Noon. Meanwhile, the Middle & High School tracks have been revamped to focus on critical life skills.
These sessions include:
• Find Your Path: Resume building and interview prep for teens.
• Executive Functioning: Strategies for organization and self-regulation.
• SAT Prep: Intensive classes for college-bound students.
The Motivating Minds Key Biscayne camp runs for eight weeks, from June 9-Aug. 1. The sessions take place at their Key Biscayne location on the 2nd floor of the Truist Bank building at 520 Crandon Blvd. True to tradition, every Friday is a celebration with pizza and waterplay for all attendees.
Early bird registration is available for those who book before the March 1 deadline.
