St. Petersburg City Council has approved a $750,000 investment over the next three years to expand STEM education and enrichment opportunities for local students. The funding will support Stem Xposure Inc., led by Robyn Donaldson and Sakeya Donaldson, in providing hands-on afterschool programming for students in grades 6 through 12. Mayor Ken Welch said the initiative is aimed at boosting academic achievement, career exploration and personal development while investing in the city’s youth.
