TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A roadside stand in a local neighborhood is serving as more than just a place to buy baked goods.
Little Hands Quick Stop is run by sisters Ari and Lettie Coriell, who sell baked goods and other homemade items as part of a homeschool project called Little Hands Company.
Everything sold at the stand is handmade by the sisters, who said they love baking the most.

The stand allows the girls to learn business skills, customer service and product creation through running a real roadside stand. Running the stand allows the girls to practice math, science and social studies and helps them build skills they can use in the future.
James Coriell, Ari and Lettie’s dad, said the project is a mix of learning and building something real.
“A lot of this stuff they don’t teach you in school,” James Coriell said. “I think mixing the two is really going to set them up in the future.”
Little Hands Quick Stop has only been open for a few months. The family said the girls have grown academically and have become a staple in their community.
Sharla Cantrell, Ari and Lettie’s mom, said the project has grown the girls’ skills and confidence.

“This was crazy for us, I was like we are on a busy road, there is no way people are going to want to slow down and stop and I was wrong, I was very wrong, people stopped,” Sharla Cantrell said. “Watching them have that has been amazing.”
The stand is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays at 2318 Eisenhower Street in Tallahassee.
