A Central Florida lawyer has been arrested in Seminole County on a warrant out of California, where he is accused of being involved in a murder-for-hire plot, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.Francisco Gonzalez, 59, allegedly offered $10,000 for someone to kill Jack Avery, the man his daughter has a child with. According to the arrest warrant, Jack Avery has a child with Gabriela Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez’s daughter.Authorities said this was all over a custody battle.Jack Avery and Gabriela Gonzalez have a longstanding custody and visitation litigation dispute, documents said.”Evidence shows Francisco Gonzalez became deeply involved in the custody conflicts,” the arrest warrant said. According to witnesses, Francisco Gonzalez stated words to the effect that it would be “cheaper if Avery were dead.”According to the arrest warrant out of California, there are bank records, witness statements, private investigator activity, and other direct evidence linking Francisco Gonzalez to the operation.Authorities believe Francisco Gonzalez entered into an agreement with Gabriela Gonzalez to have Jack Avery killed.Gabriela Gonzalez has also been arrested in California, according to jail records.

A Central Florida lawyer has been arrested in Seminole County on a warrant out of California, where he is accused of being involved in a murder-for-hire plot, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office.
Francisco Gonzalez, 59, allegedly offered $10,000 for someone to kill Jack Avery, the man his daughter has a child with.
According to the arrest warrant, Jack Avery has a child with Gabriela Gonzalez, Francisco Gonzalez’s daughter.
Authorities said this was all over a custody battle.
