TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – One person is dead following a single vehicle crash in Taylor County Monday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Beach Road outside of Perry just before 4 p.m.
The vehicle was driving on Beach Road near Gordon Brown Lane when it crossed the center line into the shoulder. It then struck a ditch and fence.
The passenger, identified as an 82-year-old man, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The driver was transported to the hospital with incapacitating injuries, according to FHP.
