Crisis Center Foundation and Jacksonville Public Library will co-host a program exploring “The Effects of Domestic Violence on Well-Being” at 6 p.m. May 27 at the library.
The free program will offer domestic violence education, including how abuse affects a person and their mental health, ways to care for yourself after suffering abuse and trauma, and ways to empower yourself.
It also will offer tools for dealing with domestic violence and information on programs available to help when needed, according to the library.
The library is at 201 W. College Ave.
