A man was caught on camera engaging in inappropriate behavior near a school for special needs adults in Cape Coral, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred in an alley behind Florida Torque Converter on Southeast 9th Street near Cultural Park Boulevard. Adam Markovic, an employee at Florida Torque Converter, said he discovered the man sitting in a chair, pants down, and fully exposed. “I didn’t see him pull up. We just came out here, and he was already here, sitting in the chair, masturbating,” Markovic said.The security camera outside the shop captured the incident, which occurred in broad daylight. Markovic said his instincts kicked in, and he grabbed his phone to confront the man. “That’s why it’s scary to go out there and do anything. I don’t want to get touched by that guy. It’s nasty!” he said. By the time Markovic approached, the man had fled to his car. “I snapped a picture of the tag, and he came in here and tried to spin around really quick,” Markovic said.Markovic said the man went as far as bringing the chair himself.”He brought it because we looked at the video and he actually takes it out of the car,” he said. Cape Coral police are reviewing the picture of the man’s maroon Kia and the video.
