CLEMSON — Clemson football added its second wide receiver in the 2027 recruiting class with the commitment of Jamarin Simmons on May 20, according to On3.

The 5-foot-11, 165-pounder from Amos P. Godby High School in Tallahassee, Florida, is a four-star wide receiver. He is the No. 18 player in the state and the No. 106 player nationally by the 247Sports Composite.

Simmons, a Tallahassee, Florida, native, chose Clemson over rival Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn and Florida. He is the second recruit to commit to Clemson on May 20, joining four-star running back Gary Walker.

In his junior season, Simmons recorded 59 catches for 932 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also had a rushing score and a passing touchdowns.

Clemson’s 2027 class has 10 commits and is ranked No. 20 nationally (fourth in ACC). Clemson has six four-star players and four three stars.

Simmons is Clemson’s first Florida commit, and the team’s fourth offensive commit, joining four-star quarterback Kharim Hughley, four-star wide receiver Trey Wimbley and Walker.
