Kristi House, Inc., the Children’s Advocacy Center for all of Miami-Dade County, raised more than $1.9 million for specialized services for victims of child abuse, sex trafficking, and other trauma at its 2026 Gala, Twilight in Santorini, held Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel.
The evening included a transformative $1 million leadership gift from Dr. Brigitt Rok Potamkin and Alan Potamkin, underscoring a deep commitment to protecting children and supporting their healing.

Leading support for the Gala was provided by Acropolis Major Sponsors Anthony Abraham Foundation, Gayle and Rollie Olson, and Goya Foods. Additional support was provided by Sunset Supporting Sponsors BitBridge, Bradesco Bank, and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Guests were immersed in the elegance and ambiance of Twilight in Santorini, with thoughtfully curated experiences, entertainment, and a silent auction featuring exclusive travel, luxury items, and one-of-a-kind offerings.

The evening’s libations were generously provided by Shaw-Ross, with special thanks to Justin Molis and Yentzu Chen, along with additional support from AguaSol, Gonzalez Byass, and William Grant & Sons. Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables served as Valet Sponsor, and Lauren’s Kids as Registration Sponsor.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Vice Chairman Kionne McGhee was named Kristi House’s 2026 “Crusader of the Year.” In accepting the honor, he shared, “This work is deeply personal to me. Community-based organizations like Kristi House change lives, and I’m proud to stand with those committed to protecting children. Each of us has a responsibility to show up, take action, and be a voice for the children who need us most.”
“Abuse and exploitation are happening here in our community, often in ways we don’t see. Kristi House exists to confront that reality and ensure every child has a path to safety, healing, and justice,” said CEO Amanda Altman.

While the Gala represents a significant contribution toward Kristi House’s $9.5 million annual operating budget, ongoing community support remains essential to sustain and expand these life-changing services.

Kristi House announced its next Gala will be held Saturday, April 10, 2027, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel.
