MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — A forty-one-year-old man from Bethel Township has been charged with two counts of rape.
According to the Miami County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received reports of rape incidents on May 18.
Detectives say the victims were minors, and they opened an immediate investigation.
Miami County Sheriff’s Office says Kenneth Holycross III, 41, was arrested in connection with these reports.
Holycross was booked in the Miami County Jail, and charged with two counts of rape.
He was arraigned today in Miami County Municipal Court and pleaded not guilty.
Holycross remains in Miami County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
Deputies say Holycross was previously employed in spaces where he had authority over minors, and it is suspected there may be other victims.
Dayton Children’s has confirmed Holycross is a former employee. A spokesperson for the organization says, “We are working closely with investigators and are not aware of any incident that occurred at Dayton Children’s.”
