TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Summer break is always better with a new best friend and our Furry Friday dogs this week are ready to share in your family’s summer fun!
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET SAMPSON

Sampson is silly, sweet and sociable and the key to his heart – and his best behavior – is a supply of tasty treats!
Sampson can sit, lie down, whatever it takes … just keep the treats coming!
He likes long walks, playing ball and palling around with other dogs.
Sampson is more than ready to catch a ride home with an active, affectionate family!

MEET SNUPE
Snupe enjoys sweet talk & back scratches. He has a smile a mile wide and adores stuffed animals and car rides!(WCTV)
Meet Snupe!
This sweet boy is right at home in the great outdoors, soaking up the sun and all the sights and sounds Mother Nature has to offer.
With a little coaxing, something tells me Snupe dog would also be the perfect lap dog.
Snupe enjoys sweet talk & back scratches. He has a smile a mile wide and a love of stuffed animals and car rides!
Snupe will look you right in the eye and he’s ready to commit to long walks and a lifetime by your side.

MEET LILLIE
Lillie is ready to bring her big smile and plenty of joy to a new home and a new family!(WCTV)
Meet happy-go-lucky Lillie!
This girl has a big smile, a big heart and a gleam in her eyes.
Lillie will melt right into your hugs, kisses and scratches and is as happy sprawled out on the couch as she is sprawled out in the shade.
Lillie is easygoing and kid-friendly and is only here at the shelter because her owner could no longer take care of her.
She’s ready to bring her big smile and plenty of joy to a new home and a new family!

MEET VELVET
Velvet goes through life with a pep in her step, a smile on her face, and a serious wag in her tail!(WCTV)
Meet Velvet!
This sweet and sassy girl with the adorable gray spot on her eye goes through life with a pep in her step, a smile on her face, and a serious wag in her tail!
Velvet is into TLC – from head scratches to back scratches – Velvet says yes, please!
She enjoys long walks and plenty of toys.
Velvet wound up at the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her and she is hoping for a fresh start with a spot on the couch right next to you!

MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
