May 22, 2026 – At the St. Petersburg City Council’s Thursday meeting, St. Petersburg Police Department chief Anthony Holloway presented a Q1 2026 report (January – March). He said that “the overall crime for this quarter is down by eight percent.” Robbery, burglary/breaking and entering and motor vehicle theft offenses all decreased in comparison to Q4 of 2025.
