Flight instructor, student pilot survive Hobe Sound plane crash

HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A flight instructor and a student pilot had a frightening moment when their small plane crashed in a field in Hobe Sound.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. after the plane experienced an engine malfunction.
