Jacksonville police say a man has been arrested in connection to multiple breaking and entering cases reported over the past several months.

According to the Jacksonville Police Department, investigators focused on a series of break-ins reported around Country Club Road and nearby businesses.

The department’s General Investigations Unit, with assistance from community members, identified 43-year-old David Allen Brinson of Jacksonville as the suspect connected to the incidents.

Police said Brinson was located at a local hotel and arrested without incident.

Brinson is charged with:

Seven counts of felony breaking and enteringFive counts of misdemeanor injury to real propertyFive counts of felony larceny after breaking and enteringTwo counts of felony larcenyTwo counts of felony possession of stolen goods or propertyFelony safecrackingTwo counts of felony possession of burglary tools

Brinson is currently being held in the Onslow County Jail without bond.
