The Clearwater Garden Club, in partnership with Keep Pinellas Beautiful, is hosting a hands-on day at the garden Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. until noon.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks including transplanting plants, starting propagated plants in pots and germinating seeds. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just love being outdoors, it’s an opportunity to get your hands in the soil, meet fellow gardeners, and help cultivate a space that the community can enjoy.
Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be signed in by a parent or guardian. Volunteers under the age of 15 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the event.
Closed toe shoes, long sleeves, a hat, sunglass and a refillable water bottle are recommended. All supplies and tools will be provided.

Office support for Hero To A Child
For over 35 years, Hero To A Child has transformed the lives of children and youth in the child welfare system. Through strong partnerships with service providers throughout the community, it works hard to address the challenges of foster care and meet the needs of children in its care.
Hero To A Child is are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with office tasks and client outreach. Volunteers will assist with writing thank-you notes and cards to supporters, donors and partners; reaching out to clients via phone, email or mail; and helping with general office tasks as needed.
Volunteers are asked to commit to at least two to five hours per week.
