Skies will be mostly sunny with temperature highs near 91 degrees and winds will blow east to southeast at 5 to 10 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.
There is also a high risk of rip currents at area beaches.
Looking ahead, temperatures should be slightly above normal, especially overnight lows, according to NWS Melbourne.
Each afternoon will have a chance for isolated to scattered storms that produce lightning strikes, particularly inland.
Moderate to high risks for rip currents will exist at all area beaches throughout the weekend.
