JOHNSON COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – On May 20th, deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding the possible location of a wanted person from Florida who was facing multiple felony charges related to crimes against children.
After receiving and confirming the active warrant, deputies responded to a home on Oglethorpe Street where the individual was reportedly working.
Upon arrival, deputies saw the suspect standing in the front yard of the residence.
The individual, identified as Jordan Daniel Geike, was taken into custody without incident and transported for further extradition proceedings.
According to the warrant issued out of Columbia County, Florida, the charges include:
Solicitation of a Minor to Engage in Sexual Conduct
Transmission of Harmful Material to a Minor
Possession of Child Pornography
Unlawful Use of a Two-Way Communication Device
