The Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a motorcyclist who lost their passenger in a pursuit

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Dashcam video from a Florida Highway Patrol patrol car shows a motorcycle pursuit along 38th Avenue North in St. Petersburg, according to authorities. 

The rider, wearing a black helmet, was traveling with a passenger in a white helmet. Investigators say the motorcyclist turned into a 16th Street North entrance at a business and jumped a curb behind the parking lot. During the maneuver, the passenger fell off the motorcycle. The rider continued fleeing the area.

In an Instagram post from The Florida Highway Patrol, they are asking the driver if they are missing their passenger, to contact them with information about the incident.
