Flood Advisory issued for parts of the Miami Valley – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio - Florida News Beep

MIAMI VALLEY — The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for parts of the Miami Valley.

Counties under the advisory include Butler, Champaign, Clark, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and Warren until 11:45 a.m.

A Flood Warning has been issued for Mad River in Springfield until 7:23 p.m. today.

A Flood Warning has also been issued for the Little Miami River in Spring Valley until 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Ryan Marando reports that scattered showers and a few thunderstorms may also move through the front half of the day.

There may be some breaks in the clouds late in the day and into the evening.
