TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – This week, Rickards High is giving the perfect gift to retiring principal Doug Cook – a crosswalk with his name on it!
Cook dons an orange vest each morning and welcomes kids to school at the crosswalk, and sends them off at the bus ramp at the end of the day.
More good news:
Students cheered as they unveiled the sign for Cook’s Crossing, and it stands six feet nine, just like he does.
