The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says three of four passengers on a 19-foot vessel were taken to the hospital following an early morning crash.
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Three people are receiving treatment following a boat crash in Hillsborough County.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says this happened sometime early Monday when a 19-foot vessel with four people on board was traveling on the Hillsborough River near Ignacio Haya Linear Park.
Authorities say an incident happened that caused the boat to crash into the rocks near the shore.
FWC, along with Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, responded to the scene.
Three of the passengers on the boat were taken to a hospital for injuries.
Wildlife officials are continuing to investigate this crash.
