The Chanticleers head to Regionals with a strong 37-21 record despite scuffling a bit down the stretch, going 4-7 in their last 11 games. Regionals are double-elimination, and Coastal Carolina will play either the winner or loser of St. John’s-Florida State, depending on how the Chants fare against the Huskies.
Coastal Carolina will look to return to the College World Series in Omaha, where it made a run all the way to the national championship last year before losing to LSU.
