Kennedy Jr. posted a video on social media that shows him picking up two black racer snakes in Florida.The snakes appeared to be sunning themselves on a patio when Kennedy grabbed them with his bare hands and held them up for the camera as they thrashed.According to Kennedy’s post, the snake wrangling happened on the patio of Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.Kennedy’s wife, Cheryl Hines, could be heard off-camera repeatedly telling him to put the snakes down after one appeared to bite at his hand.According to the Florida Museum of Natural History, North American racers are not dangerous to people or pets, but they may bite to defend themselves.CNN contributed to this report.
