ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old that took place in St. Petersburg on Friday.
Just after 6:30 p.m., 14-year-old Gaige Santos-Brown was in the 4200 block of 15th Avenue South when he was approached by three teens.
Investigators said that shortly after an altercation broke out and shots were fired, hitting Santos-Brown, who was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Saturday, detectives arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the case. and charged him with felony murder and violation of supervised release.
According to the St. Petersburg Police Department, on Tuesday, the final two suspects, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, were arrested.
Both are charged with felony murder.
