TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Luxury home prices rose the most in Tampa than anywhere else in the United States in the past three months, according to data released by Redfin on Tuesday.
Redfin said Tampa saw a 17.1% increase in median sale prices for luxury homes.
Tampa made the top three in the country for pending luxury home sales and closed luxury home sales.

The data also showed that luxury homes in Tampa went under contract in 20 days, down 14 days from a year earlier.
According to Redfin, the average median sale price for a luxury home in Tampa is $1,670,163.
“The uptick in luxury home prices and demand in many parts of the country is likely incentivizing more high-end homeowners to put their houses up for sale. New listings of U.S. luxury homes climbed 2% year over year during the three months ending April 30, compared with a 0.6% gain in non-luxury new listings,” Redfin said.
