Four-star edge Jabarrius Garror is one of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2027 cycle. He was offered a scholarship by the Florida State Seminoles back in January of 2024, and he took an unofficial visit that April as well.

In 2025, Garror took Junior Day, Legacy Weekend, and summer camp visits to Tallahassee, and he also attended there season opener against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Sprinkle in another Junior Day trip and an unofficial visit in March this year, it’s clear that Garror is a major priority for the Seminoles.

According to Matt LaSerre of Warchant, he’s one of FSU’s most important visitors this summer, especially since other schools are getting heavily involved.

Florida State has done a good job of being at or near the top of Garror’s recruitment for some time. The Seminoles competed fiercely with Alabama when he was committed to the Tide, and they stayed there after his decommitment. FSU was even named the leader after his visit to Tallahassee this spring.

Since then, however, it has felt like Florida State has been slipping in this recruitment due to school’s with major NIL resources, including Texas A&M, making a push.

Garror’s visit to Florida State has been scheduled for June 19, which is the final official visit weekend. It is important for FSU to get him on campus and make another big impression.

Garror is the No. 93 recruit nationally and the No. 12 edge per Rivals’ industry rankings. He’s also listed as the state of Alabama’s No. 2 prospect.

When it comes to big-time production, Garror’s junior season was about as good as it gets. He finished with 106 tackles, 32.5 tackles for loss, 21 sacks, 18 quarterback pressures, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Florida State is working to add more edge help to four-star prospect Anthony Cavallaro who committed to their 2027 class back in January. A player with the credit of Garror is a great place to start.
