Video showed authorities blasting their way into the garage of a Fort Lauderdale home during a SWAT situation early Wednesday morning.
Neighbors said the loud boom woke them up around 5 a.m.
“Lights, loud boom, cops everywhere, SWATs surrounding the front, the back, walking through the yard,” said Sheri Jackson, who lives next door. “I have a disabled mother in there, scared everybody in the household.”
Officers were seen going into and out of the home, but officials haven’t given any details on the incident.
At least five people were seen being questioned by authorities but it’s unclear if any arrests were made.
“My neighbors are good people, I don’t know what took place to call to cause this, all of this, damage their entire home, broke up their garage and doors, just unfair,” Jackson said.
No other information was immediately known.
