Blue-chip wide receiver to visit FSU football

The FSU Seminoles do not currently have a wide receiver committed in their 2027 recruiting class, something that offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Tim Harris Jr. is looking to change now that they have a quarterback committed in Luke Flaherty.

While Seminoles have missed out on several of their targets, they are in a good place for several others. A new target who has emerged for them is Ethan Kimmie, a four-star prospect from Zachary, Louisiana. FSU extended him a scholarship offer on May 15, and he has already scheduled his first visit to Tallahassee.

According to Chris Nee of Noles247, he will visit FSU on Sunday for a camp. Kimmie also has scholarship offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Texas A&M Aggies, Kentucky Wildcats, and Syracuse Orange.

Kimmie is ranked as the No. 310 overall player and No. 40 wide receiver in the 247Sports composite. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is also the No. 13 player from Louisiana.

While he is not taking an official visit, it will be FSU’s first weekend hosting official visitors this summer. A good visit with Kimmie, and an official visit would be the next step if they push for him.
