MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Christopher Glover, a now former employee with the Baldwin County School System, was arrested on October 16 in a child sex sting operation in Escambia County, Florida dubbed “Operation Twelve Parsecs”.
The operation resulted in the arrest of 13 people.
Glover worked, according to his Linkedin profile, in the IT (Internet Technology) department of the school system.
The school system tells NBC 15 that they were notified on October 23 of his arrest a week earlier on October 16th. Prior to October 23, Glover had already submitted his resignation, which was accepted by the board.
Glover is charged with Use of a computer to seduce, solicit, or lure a child, travelling to meet a child, use of 2 way communication device to facilitate a felony, and transmitting information harmful to minors.
He was released from the Escambia County Jail on October 18 on $61,000 bond.
