TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Today’s something good is a patriotic performance one Godby graduate will never forget.
A video of Omega Forbes has been liked nearly 50,000 times since it was posted last week.

The 17-year-old never thought he’d reach so many strangers through social media.
He stopped by WCTV on Thursday to discuss the experience and making his principal proud as they shared the stage.

“It definitely gives me a lot more confidence. It makes me more confident in my abilities, being able to see everybody kind of rooting me on. So I have a good support system behind me,” Forbes said.
Forbes is planning to head to FSU in the fall now that he’s graduated.
