Loci
sells in Tampa. Loci Capital Opportunistic Fund, LP, an affiliate of Tampa, Florida-based Loci Capital Group, has sold the 227-key Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park to an undisclosed buyer for an undisclosed amount. The ownership group also included
Loci Capital’s operating partner, HHM Hotels. Built in 2006, the Hilton Carillon features more than 16,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and was acquired by Loci and its JV partners in January 2021 as part of its inaugural opportunistic fund. The property
has undergone renovations since its acquisition, including a full room renovation, which will be completed after the acquisition.
Bay Area
hotel sells. UC Investments, the University of California’s investment arm, acting through an affiliate, has paid $175.8 million for the 331-key Residence Inn Berkeley, according to the San Jose Mercury News. In 2023, the hotel was appraised at $218
million in connection with a $120 million financing package the hotel received at that time. The hotel also had previously received $50 million in C-PACE financing.
Soho
House founder opening new hotel. Soho House founder Nick Jones is opening a hotel in London in 2026, according to Boutique Hotelier. The project will mark his first hotel opening since he stepped down as CEO at Soho House in 2022. The 90-key St. Clement
Hotel will be situated above his newest venture, Corner Shop 180. The site is close to Somerset House and the Soho House flagship, 180 House, which was acquired by Waterway PCP Properties in 2012 for £243 million. Last month, Soho House was acquired
by MCR Hotels in a deal valued at £2 billion.
Choice taking MainStay to Australia. Choice Hotels is partnering with Extended STAY Australasia to bring its extended-stay chain, MainStay Suites, to Australia. The deal will take the brand outside North America for the first time, and the initial plan is
to rebrand seven properties across Australia.
Meyer Jabara adds in New York. Danbury, Connecticut-based Meyer Jabara Hotels has assumed management of 42-key The Abbey Inn & Spa, a boutique hotel in Peekskill, New York. The hotel occupies a 1876 structure built initially as a convent. Martin
and Irene Ginsburg own the independent property.
Hunter
closes $515M in Q3 deals. Atlanta-based Hunter Hotel Advisors closed more than $515 million in hotel sales during the third quarter of 2025. The firm completed 36 hotel transactions nationwide, averaging approximately $14.5 million per deal and has
already secured over $580 million under contract for the fourth quarter. Flagship Q3 closings included the AC San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter, Hyatt Place Athens Downtown, Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Ponte Vedra Sawgrass, and Crowne Plaza Knoxville

Marriott’s
Edition adds in KSA. Marriott International’s Edition Hotels is adding its second hotel in Saudi Arabia and the first hotel on Shura Island with the opening of the 240-key The Red Sea Edition. The property is situated along a kilometer of private
beachfront, offering views across t he Red Sea and the greenery of Shura Links, Saudi Arabia’s first 18-hole island golf course. Once complete, Shura Island will be home to a collection of resorts, marinas, entertainment, dining and leisure facilities.
Wyndham
adds in Singapore. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has signed a franchise agreement with Worldwide Hotels, Singapore’s largest home-grown hotel group, to introduce the 362-key Days Inn by Wyndham Singapore Novena. The property, currently Value Hotel Thomson,
will be rebranded and renovated, with its reopening planned for August 2026.
Hilton
adds in Chennai. Hilton is partnering with Chennai, India-based MKR Estate Developers to expand its presence in Chennai with the signing of 195-key Hilton Chennai Egmore. The new-build hotel is expected to open in January 2029 and will be part of
a larger mixed-use development. Hilton has announced plans to double its brand footprint in India over the next five years.
