TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – As May turns to June, the sun sets later and later. And with these adorable pups, those late sunsets will be even more fun!
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:
MEET TAMMIE
Tammie is a sweet girl who loves to roll around in the grass!(WCTV)
Meet Tammie!
She’s a sweet soul and is down for just about anything.
She’s calm and doesn’t mind a nice sit in the grass. But she’s also happy to tag along on a slow-moving adventure.
Tammie is a year-and-a-half old and the perfect size for any home.
She may need a second or two to get comfy by your side, but once she’s ready to go, she’ll melt your heart with her bowlegged trot.
Tammie is also ready to roll over and get a belly rub just about anywhere!

MEET TOBIAS
Tobias is a goofy boy who loves to play around!(WCTV)
Meet Tobias!
He’s a goofy boy who doesn’t mind cheesin’ for the camera.
He came to the shelter as a stray, but he’s super social!
He’d love a big backyard to run and bounce around in. But once he’s done that, he’s happy to sit and chow down on a toy.
He’s great in cars and he’s working hard to be great on the leash, too.
He’d want to meet any dog brothers or sisters before moving in.
Tobias has been an extended resident at the shelter, so he’s hoping his forever family meets him this weekend!
MEET IVY
Ivy is a playful girl who loves to bounce along on an adventure!(WCTV)
Meet Ivy!
She is just over a year old and can’t wait to see what life has to offer her.
She loves an adventure, even if she’s still working on being the perfect companion on a leash.
She bounces along with a smile that’s hard to resist.
Ivy loves a good treat and, with some training, could become quite the lady.
Ivy also behaves well around other dogs.

MEET SIMBA
Simba is a social boy who can’t wait to meet his new forever family!(WCTV)
Meet Simba!
This lab mix is just over a year old and just can’t wait to be king… of your castle!
His former owners couldn’t provide the needed space for Simba to thrive, so he’s hoping his new family has plenty of backyard for him to goof around in.
His personality really shines. He’s playful and already knows some commands, including sit and stay.
And while he’s 100% dog, he has a cat-like tendency to rub up against you to show his affection.
Simba would need to meet another dog before joining your family, but surely you already can feel the love tonight, right?

MEET AND GREET
You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It’s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.
You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
