Marianna woman indicted for delay or destruction of mail, attorney’s office says

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Marianna woman was indicted for delay or destruction of mail, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.

A federal grand jury announced 39-year-old Stacy Braxton’s charge Friday, the attorney’s office wrote in a press release. Officials referred to her as a postal employee in their statement.

She’s expected to stand trial July 20 in Tallahassee.

If convicted, the 39-year-old faces up to five years in prison, per the attorney’s office.
