May 29, 2026 – The Tampa General Hospital Foundation has been awarded a $200,000 grant from TD Bank to create the Virtual Health Center initiative. According to a prepared statement, this will “expand access to urgent, behavioral and preventative care for adolescents in low-and moderate-income communities.” Telehealth “clinics in a pod” will be installed in “schools, shelters and community hubs.” As a result, young people can connect with licensed clinicians.
