The No. 10 Florida State Seminoles will open the Tallahassee Regional on Friday against the St. John’s Red Storm in Dick Howser Stadium.
FSU (38-17) is looking to make it back to the College World Series for the second time in three years after losing in the Super Regionals last year. This is their third postseason appearance under Link Jarrett, and they have never had any issues in the regional round, going 6-0.
They are entering the game on a two-game losing streak after going 0-1 at the ACC Tournament. While they would have loved to make a run at the tournament, the break has allowed them to get healthy ahead of the most important games of the season.

This is the first time that FSU and St. John’s have ever played in the postseason, and the second time ever. The Seminoles won the first two games of the series in 2016, with St. John’s taking the third.
