ORLANDO, Fla. — Text your favorite babysitter because you’re about to sip wine and possibly get smarter (thanks to science-enthusiasts) throughout the night.
“Science Night Live” is happening at the Orlando Science Center this Saturday night.
It’s an after-hours event for those 18+, with adult drinks available for those of age. Expect a multi-sensory mashup focused on optical illusions, interactive art, food vendors and tabletop game design.
One of those board games debuted at the OSC about two months ago. It’s called Waddle Waddle.
The creator, Darren Humphrey, has a deep interest in penguins – so much so that he traveled across the world to capture content.
“A few years ago, my wife and I went to Antarctica to see the penguins, and I took a lot of photos,” he said. “The board game evolved from that. So all the cards in the games are photos of penguins that I took in the wild or my friend took in the wild.”
“Game Night Unleashed” is on the Level 3 Founder’s Room of the OSC.
Science Night Live is Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 8 to 11:30 p.m.
General admission is $25.
