TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Another warm, muggy and unsettled day is on tap to end the weekend, but some changes are looming.
Tonight Through Sunday Night
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible for Saturday evening, but we should see a slow drying trend after sunset. A light shower is possible for the overnight, but most are looking dry and muggy. Lows fall into the low-70s under a partly cloudy sky.
Our “copy and paste” weather pattern will stick around for the second half of the weekend. Highs on Sunday climb into the upper-80s under a partly sunny sky.
During the peak heating of the day, we are expecting more of those scattered showers and thunderstorms. It will not rain all day, but pack the umbrella, just in case.
Spotty showers are possible for Sunday night under a partly cloudy sky. Overnight lows bottom out in the low-70s.
Starting The New Week
Monday is looking muggy and a little unsettled. Again, scattered showers and storms are possible under a partly sunny sky. However, we are not anticipating a washout. Highs top out in the low-90s, with lows in the low-70s.
Moisture stays elevated for one more day. As a result, spotty showers and storms are possible on Tuesday under a mix of Sun and clouds. Again, highs top out in the low-90s, and lows settle in the upper-60s and low-70s.
Extended Forecast
Looking ahead, we are keeping tabs on a potential shot of drier air for the middle of the week.
Dew points are looking to tumble for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. As a result, you will notice a big drop in the humidity and the mugginess.
Rain chances are also looking lower. We are tracking mostly dry weather for the middle of the week.
In terms of temperature, we stay warm but near average for early June. Highs reach the upper-80s to low-90s. Lows are very comfortable. We dip into the low-and-mid-60s.
