Florida State and Coastal Carolina, six innings deep into the Tallahassee Regional elimination game, will resume play on Sunday rather than finishing things out on Saturday night.
The official time for the matchup, as well as the winner’s bracket game between St. John’s and Northern Illinois, has yet to be determined.
The matchup, which began at 2 p.m. ET, was postponed at 3:15 p.m. due to weather. After resuming play at 5:45, play was once again suspended with the arrival of more rain.
FSU currently leads 2-1 after managing to even things up in the brief window of resumed play, taking the lead off a Cal Fisher home run in the bottom of the fifth.
