NAPLES, Fla. (WINK)—Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash on I-75 near mile marker 107 by the Pine Ridge Road interchange.
Several FHP troopers were parked by the scene of the crash early Sunday morning. A body was seen laying next to a white Tesla with what appeared to be severe damage to it, next to a box truck that was rolled on its side.
The crash happened in an area where construction is heavy and traffic patterns are changing.
WINK News reached out to FHP to confirm what exactly happened, how many injuries occurred, and how many vehicles were involved and is waiting to hear back.
Southbound lanes of I-75 were closed. Northbound lanes have been reopened.
