Chef Rick has entered the kitchen.
West Tampa Tobacco Co. has announced its latest release, which is named after Rick Rodriguez. The new Chef Rick is a 6 x 52 toro that uses a habano 2000 wrapper from an undisclosed country over an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder and fillers from the Condega, Estelí, Jalapa and Ometepe regions of Nicaragua. It is made at Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua S.A.
Each cigar has an MSRP of $12.99 and production is limited to 3,000 boxes of 50 cigars.
This is the third release in the company’s Cook Book Series, which has featured food-inspired cigars like Boliche Blvd. and Devil Crab.
“A great culinary chef requires technical mastery, immense passion and creativity” said Rodriguez in a press release. “I also wanted to take the opportunity to partner with a young up and coming factory, Tabacalera Pages de Nicaragua S.A., to close out this trilogy. Having the opportunity to work along side Raymond Pages Raffo allowed me to bring something new and unique to my fans.”
