• A 23-year-old Jacksonville man was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Tuesday at North Clay and East College avenues on a Morgan County warrant accusing him of possession of burglary tools.

• Police were called at 2:33 p.m. Monday to South East and Franklin streets for a woman who was assaulted at another location. Emergency medical services were provided at the scene.

• Police were called at 2:23 p.m. Monday to a disturbance in the 800 block of South Clay Avenue. Those involved were separated.

• A resident of the 200 block of South Prairie Street loaned his scooter to a woman and she has not returned it, according to a report filed at 8:55 p.m. Monday.

• A wallet was lost or stolen at Walmart, 1941 W. Morton Ave., according to a report filed at 1:12 p.m. Monday.

• A check stolen from a resident in the 900 block of North Church Street was cashed about three years ago but just noticed, according to a report filed at 11:20 a.m. Monday. The theft was past the statue of limitations, according to a police report.

• Items were taken from a residence in the 900 block of North East Street, according to a report filed at 8:40 a.m. Monday. The items later were returned to the owner, according to a police report.

• Police were called at 10:12 p.m. Monday to the 200 block of West Morgan Street for a report of several people with firearms trying to rob people. Officers determined there were no firearms and no criminal activity was taking place. 

• A 19-year-old Pittsfield man was booked into Pike County Jail on Sunday on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court.

• A 41-year-old Liberty woman was booked into Pike County Jail on Friday on a warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court.

• A 58-year-old Barry man was booked into Pike County Jail on Thursday on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of hypodermic syringes, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacture or delivery of controlled substances, and possession of a controlled substance.

• A 46-year-old Hannibal, Missouri, woman was booked into Pike County Jail on May 26 on an Illinois Department of Corrections hold.

• A 59-year-old Quincy man was booked into Pike County Jail on May 25 on a warrant accusing him of failing to appear in court.

• A 50-year-old Griggsville man was booked into Pike County Jail on May 25 on a domestic violence charge.

• A 20-year-old Belleville man was booked into Pike County Jail on May 21 on warrants accusing him of failing to appear in court.
