TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man is behind bars after child sexual abuse material was found in his possession, according to the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.
Andrew Williams, 44, was arrested on Friday following an investigation that began in November after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) gave LCSO a tip about suspected child sexual abuse material on an online account.

LCSO’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Unit discovered Williams was the owner of the account. 45 files with sexual abuse material were found on his online accounts and devices, law enforcement officials say.
“Because the investigation revealed possession of ten or more files depicting child sexual abuse material, Williams was charged with 45 counts of Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography pursuant to Florida law,” the sheriff’s office reports.

Williams was taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service and was booked into the Leon County Jail.
His first court appearance was on May 31.
