Not the popular idiom meaning to cause trouble.
How about heading to one of several new Raising Cane’s coming to the United States, including one that opened less than a week ago in Florida and another two opening in the Sunshine State in June 2026.
The chicken-finger restaurant chain is famous for its hand-battered, cooked-to-order chicken tenders, buttered Texas toast, and special sauce.

Largo: Raising Cane’s submitted plans in May 2025 for a new location at 10500 Ulmerton Road

Melbourne may get one at the former Bob Evans building at 100 Sheriff Drive, according to a site plan filed with the city.

Raising Cane’s describes itself as “a restaurant that only serves chicken fingers.” It was a “business plan (that) received the lowest grade in a college class because the professor said it wouldn’t work.”
“Raising Cane’s has ONE LOVE — quality chicken finger meals, and we serve them better than anyone else. Certified bird specialists hand batter” the chicken, which is then marinated for 24 hours before being cooked to order. No heat lamps are used.
The first Raising Cane opened Aug. 28, 1996, in an old building at the North Gates of Louisiana State University. It’s headquarters are located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
