Drier Weekend Ahead for South Florida

ROADS FOR US. LET’S GET OVER TO SANDRA WITH A LOOK AT THAT FORECAST. I LOVE THIS MAP HERE THIS MORNING BECAUSE IT’S SHOWING NOT ONLY SOME FRESH AIR, BUT IT’S PRETTY. SO ALL YOU SEE HERE IS WITH THIS GREEN AND THIS LIGHTER GREEN HERE, A LITTLE BIT OF A NICER AIR MASS, IT’S GOING TO BE JUST ON THE CUSP OF OUR AREA. WE HAVE A STALLED FRONTAL BOUNDARY TO OUR SOUTH, AND IT WAS ALL THAT MESS AHEAD OF THE FRONT THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM YESTERDAY WITH THE HEAVY RAINS INTERMITTENTLY, BUT THIS NICER AIR STARTING TO FILTER IN. WE HAVE MORE OF A NORTHEAST WIND FLOW THIS MORNING, SO IT IS DRY. WHAT A WELCOME CHANGE AFTER A COUPLE OF REALLY INCREDIBLY SWAMPY DAYS, WE’LL SEE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SOME LINGERING MOISTURE. BUT SO FAR NOTHING OUT THERE. RIGHT NOW WE’VE GOT 66 DEGREES IN OKEECHOBEE. CERTAINLY THE FURTHER NORTH YOU ARE, THE NICER IT FEELS. 75 THOUGH IN VERO, PRETTY DIFFERENT, 81 IN BOYNTON, 79 IN BOCA AND STILL REALLY HUMID. WE’RE GOING TO JUST SEE HIGHS THOUGH ESCALATE INTO THE LOWER TO MID 80S FOR THE TREASURE COAST THOUGH. AND THEN FOR THE PALM BEACHES I THINK ABOUT 85 OR 86 BEFORE IT’S ALL SAID AND DONE AS WE TAKE A LOOK AT SOME MOISTURE KIND O

South Florida will see variably cloudy skies today in the wake of a front. There’s still a slight chance of showers as it will take awhile for the moisture to dissipate. More stable conditions are expected for Friday and the weekend with sunny skies and only isolated shower chances.
